Wold Traveler

Well I never thought I would become a traveler or more than anything have the opportunity to travel as much as I have in the past while but I can honestly say I am so thankful for everything that's come my way!
I recently came back from a wonderful trip to Israel where I had the opportunity to teach 8 fabulous workshops to some fabulous crafters as well as do a serious amount of sight seeing as we decided to stay 3.5 weeks and make it a family vacation.
I really wanted to create a project that was out of the box and not your traditional way to display your photos so this is what I came up with!

A completely Untraditional way to display your photos yet a big story is being told here.
From the Beautiful doors of a synagogue to represent Jerusalem to the butterfly hanging from the photo to represent freedom from a country that experiences turmoil often and the chipboard pieces to remind me that we had the opportunity to have the entire family together is such a special gift!
Here is a few more photos of the project and I've added a few photos of our trip for your enjoyment!

Here's a few photos of our wonderful trip!

View of Jerusalem

Ava's first dip in the sea, collecting sea shells

The girls could have stayed at the beach all day every day!

Highlight of the trip! - Dead Sea mud!.... not sure those bathing suits made it back alive LoL!

The stunning Dead Sea

A photo that took my breath away in Akko

One of our better family photos

Here's the three monkeys in mud

Some of the fabulous ladies at one of my workshops

Hubby Floating in the dead sea while filming himself floating ( yup total geek!)

There's 150 more photos but I'll spare you the pain LoL!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing this wonderful journey with me!
Many hugs!

  30. Hi Limor, wow what a show tonight!!! Awesome, I want to have a go at one of these boxes and I love the canvas idea too. Thank you for making it really worth while staying up and drinking lots of hot chocolate, oh what a chore lol. Your pics of your vacation, class tour are lovely, the girls certainly look like they had a marvelous time. I found your story about your travels book creation so poignant! You have put into paper and cardstock and chipboard what so many people would want to say about the country you visited and it's own journey through time. It is a fabulous way to display photo's of what will become beautiful memories for your whole family for lifetimes to come. It simply is amazing and a creation to cherish and pass down to your children, who will remember that holiday with passion and joy! Thank you Limor, I am in awe of you and your talent, I have so much that you can teach me, bring it on, I say! Hugs ~ Jan ~ xxx

  33. Hi Limor! Your show tonight was awesome! I learned how to make a shadow box. I don't know if I will be able to make one as pretty as yours, but I can sure try. I have never been good at measuring. I remember you said you weren't good at it, but it is really hard for me to believe, because you placed those little square pieces perfectly into those little boxes. Anyway, I love the paper pictures you put in the box and I really like the lindy's stamp gang magicals that you mixed with the modeling paste and how you used a stencil on the sides. That came out really elegant. Hugs, Francine
