December updates and Season's Greetings
0
Hi Everyone!
I have been a little slow on posting all my updates on my blog lately, thanks to my two very busy kids :)
Soooooo I just got back from an AMAZING trip to Cabo, San Lucas with 3 of my girlfriends. For all you mothers out there that can squeeze a little getaway with some girlfriends, I highly recommend it!!!! Wow I feel rejuvenated!!!!
I am currently working on a mini album to showcase my wonderful trip and would love to get my hands on the new Tattered Angels glimmer mist colors so that I can use it on my album.
I am currently designing and teaching for a local scrapbook store so that is some very exciting to add to my resume :).
The latest thing I have been working on is getting my house ready for the holidays which I am sure it is what you have all been up to as well. I entered into a challenge last week through Marion Smith www.apieceofcraft.com and it is making a birdhouse ornament. I will post the pictures below for you to see.
I am very excited to announce that I officially have a new HD video camera to record some amazing tutorials since the camera I had was just not doing the trick. I will start posting videos in the new year so stay tuned!!!
I wish you all a happy and safe holiday season!!! See you all in the New Year!

Feeling Inspired
0
Hi everyone! thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my new Blog! As promised I will be posting tutorials and videos of my latest projects so tonight I will be recording my first tutorial video on glimmer mist! I am so addicted to the Tattered Angels glimmer mist that it has become an obsession. I am sure I use it in every single project and page that I make. I went on a little shopping spree yesterday and purchased 18 new colors of Tattered Angels glimmer mist so I am dying to try them all out.
Tonight's tutorial will talk about many different ways you can use your glimmer mist, from decorating flowers to creating a patterned paper just with using glimmer mist.
Stay tuned!!!

Inspiration and Techniques on Birdcage layout
1
I was inspired by this picture because of the meaning this picture has to me. The setting was beautiful, a magical fluffy snowy day at a glorious castle in the heart of downtown Toronto. My little munchkin had been released from hospital the previous day from a very large bowel reconstructive surgery to reverse her colostomy. After spending so many long stressful days, this moment of beauty and freedom was truly magical.
The bird on the top Right hand side of the page was done by using alcohol inks and blending solution, then mounted on patterned paper. The flowers on the layout were all hand made with the new Fancy Prima Lace. The glitter border around the photo was done by using the AGT gun and free hand making waves on the picture, then adding some silver glitter on top.
The entire layout was distressed using the Tim Holtz distress inks to give it a more antique character.
