We have a great prize for you too!

Here is the layout I created using the beautiful ID chipboard!  some of you will say it's more on the simply side and not my usual Mixed Media style but I love trying new things and this particular collection was screaming at me ;).  I can honestly say that the ID chipboard is so versatile in any type of layout/project, vintage, simple, grunge or whatever your style is! that's something I personally look for in a product.

January Color Challenge - Lindy's Stamp Gang

9
Let me start off by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
2013 was an incredible year, and just like every year it had its ups and it had it's downs but there's something really refreshing about the thought of a clean slate.  With that said why don't we start off this year with a little creative challenge?
Every Month Lindy's Stamp Gang has what we call a Color Challenge <<<--- Link - where you get to chose 2 or more colors from the palette provided and create a project of your choice.

Here is January's colours

And here is the layout I created

I often find myself creating a challenge in my art so that it pushes me as an artist.  For this challenge I wanted to contain my creation in a small space on the page and be able to use "White Space" without adding anything to it.  I have to say it was a challenge, my inner instinct was to junk up the page and cover it up with a ton of sprays and embellishments but what I found at the end of my creation was that I can actually do it and I love the result.  I encourage you to give yourself a challenge and step out of your comfort zones every once in a while and watch how you grow as an artist.
Don't forget to head on over to the Lindy's Stamp Gang Blog to check out the details on the challenge and to see all the other fabulous projects by our amazing designers.
